I’ve been listening to this local band for awhile now, after stumbling on to them through a friend’s Myspace. Right when I heard their single To Breathe in an Undertow I was hooked. The song encompasses elements from Screamo to Post-Hardcore to Emo. Most screaming bands tend to scream a little too much but Lights of the Aurora does it just about right. A few months later, they added their second single, Et Cetera which gives you the same feel as their latter single. Check out their new album Carry the Astronaut in 2007.
