X-Japan - I.V.

Posted by Drumatik on Saturday, November 3rd, 2007 at 1:06 am.

After 10 years since their last concert in 1997, X-Japan has reunited to record a new song and perform it on October 22, 2007. The new song is titled I.V. and pronounced Ivy. The song also stands for the roman numeral IV which makes it fitting seeing how the song is featured on the credits of the ending of Saw IV. The song brings back the old school heavy/speed metal feel of X-Japan with some elements of Tears, a ballad from X-Japan that was also featured on the Korean movie soundtrack, Windstruck. There is no set date for the release of the full song yet but if you would like to listen to the new song, I’ll leave you with a 30 second clip.

Here are the only released parts of the full lyrics, “I’m calling you, dear/ Can’t you see me standing right here/ Life is bleeding from fear/ I’ll give it straight from my vein.”

If Saw IV is anything like how the first few were - it’ll scare the be-jesus out of me…

Who else felt sick after watching first couple of Saw movies?

I didn’t feel sick after watching any of the Saw movies. It was actually fun to go and watch the crowd reactions. Hilarious.. as for I.V. my friends and I managed to not go crazy sitting through the whole movie just to hear the song. Even though the cleaning people looked a little annoyed. GREAT song. I really miss that band.
