The video, directed by newcomer Kerry Washington (I Think I Love My Wife, Fantastic Four: RotSS), has many of the top artists right now, such as Kanye West and Alicia Keys, and even pro tennis player, Serena Williams. Kerry Washington even stars in her directorial debut and makes a pretty solid effort.

After releasing 3 singles off of Finding Forever (The Game, The People, Drivin’ Me Wild), it’s obvious Common shines through with I Want You. The whole R&B, smooth vibe is there in full effect. It is definitely more mature and classy than any of his other videos. I’ll leave my overview at that.
