After 10 years since their last concert in 1997, X-Japan has reunited to record a new song and perform it on October 22, 2007. The new song is titled I.V. and pronounced Ivy. The song also stands for the roman numeral IV which makes it fitting seeing how the song is featured on the credits of the ending of Saw IV. The song brings back the old school heavy/speed metal feel of X-Japan with some elements of Tears, a ballad from X-Japan that was also featured on the Korean movie soundtrack, Windstruck. There is no set date for the release of the full song yet but if you would like to listen to the new song, I’ll leave you with a 30 second clip.
Here are the only released parts of the full lyrics, “I’m calling you, dear/ Can’t you see me standing right here/ Life is bleeding from fear/ I’ll give it straight from my vein.â€
